I then picked up tenor saxophone to play in the jazz big band, and I began my piano journey at the end of high school to diversify my musical knowledge! I have gained a lot of experience playing in the professional music world through playing at Westfield State! From playing in WSU's symphony, to creating my own chamber ensemble, to playing in the jazz big band, to playing in a pit orchestra and even dabbling in chorus and chamber choir, I like to be as musically versatile and explorative as I can! I began teaching saxophone and clarinet lessons in my home, and music studios after I graduated from college. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also taught Instrumental Music in Schools. In 2014, I began taking orchestral auditions to be a solo concert saxophonist and got the opportunity to perform under former Philadelphia Orchestra assistant conductor, Maestro Luis Biava. Since then I have been a part of several world premieres of contemporary chamber and concert music and have had the opportunity to perform in venues such as the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Trinity Center for Urban Life in Philadelphia, PA; the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City, and Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN.
