I am a recent college graduate who specializes in classical saxophone, but has experience in all genres including jazz and rock. I have taught private lessons for several years, and my students have achieved the highest honors at regional and state festivals. Recently, I performed as featured soloist with the Minot Symphony Orchestra, playing Jaques Ibert's Concertino da Camera. During my collegiate career I traveled and performed internationally, and sought out opportunities to study under some of the world's most renowned saxophonists, including Eugene Rousseau, Marie-Bernadette Charrier, and Otis Murphy. With the piano books there are also theory workbooks that give them a chance to think about what they are actually doing when it comes to making music. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies. Since then, I have moved to Nashville, earned my Master's Degree from Belmont University in 2014, and have began my professional career as a freelance saxophonist.
