There is no reason for music lessons to be dreary, almost all of my students enjoy their lessons and have no problem coming back week after week to be challenged again. I played literally 100's of shows at Opryland Theme Park, Opryland Hotel and while aboard the General Jackson Riverboat. I have played with country acts such as Crystal Gale ("Don't It Make my Brown Eyes Blue") and Brenda Lee ("Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree'). I started teaching in 2009 in Mississippi. I taught 6th grade band (beginner), 7th grade band, and high school. I taught in Mississippi for 5 years and just recently moved to Tennessee. While teaching, I've given private lessons to some of my students after school and to some students who did not attend my school. I always encourage doing a recital, entering competitions, and continuing on to college playing their instrument. I love motivating students and challenging them to be the best and nothing less.
