I have a Masters degree in music composition from the University of Memphis with a minor in music theory. I also have a bachelors degree in music composition from Texas A&M at Commerce Texas with a minor in piano. Since graduating from college i have been conducting after school music programs for many local schools as well as teaching private lessons from my music studio. For older students I pick method books more specific to their age, learning style, and progress while still focusing on key points of interest for the student. Fostering the interest in music into a passion within my students is the ideal teaching situation.
