During this period one of my students was awarded the top alto saxophone chair in the Mississippi All State high school band. I began teaching again during my tenure at UT Martin. What I enjoy most about my teaching is seeing a passion for the saxophone and music arise and blossom. I use multiple activities in each lesson to keep my instruction fresh, fun, and engaging. I have seen my students achieve success at all levels, from being a beginner to winning a college scholarship to the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music!
