I've been teaching private lessons for 2 years; first starting with a few students from the college. Recently have sung with RICCO (performing works such as Carmina Burana). I have been in many shows, such as Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince), Brundebar (the baker), HMS Pinafore (Captain Cochran), and Gatsby (Nick Carraway). I am a pianist, conductor, and educator, with additional backgrounds in music theory/musicianship, voice, bassoon and percussion. I am currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the Longy School of Music, studying with Grammy-nominated pianist and composer, Andrius Žlabys. In 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Conducting from Chapman University, where I studied piano with Dr. Grace Fong and conducting with Daniel Wachs. Each student is a different starting point depending on playing ability and age among a multitude of other factors. I am willing to negotiate to give any help the student needs at any level. However, for beginners we will always start learning by ear, as well as singing and clapping (sound before symbol).
