I write songs constantly and have performed hundreds of times as both a solo artist and with bands that I have formed. I have performed in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, North Carolina, Texas and Louisiana. For beginning students, I vary my teaching methods quite a bit. I often take on students in households that already have method books purchased, and I have never had an issue with using them. At times, more books are needed, but I will allow the student to utilize these already-owned options, as I myself will supplement extra music.
