I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor who loves sharing my love of music with students. In 2011 I graduated from Haverford College as a Music Minor and History Major. I write songs constantly and have performed hundreds of times as both a solo artist and with bands that I have formed. I believe in teaching people to be true musicians and tap into their own creative spirits, not just to be technicians at the mercy of what's written for them. With that said, I take a balanced approached between learning traditional fundamentals and some of my own more philosophical approach, drawing on metaphors and analagous experiences to help frame this learning experience in ways the student can relate and understand. In the first lesson beginner students get an overview of the piano, learn their first warmups, get an idea of what they should do outside of our lessons to see the most progress, and discuss their goals as a musician and pianist/clarinetist. I mostly teach from Alfred's Basic Piano Library All-In-One Book series for students of all ages and supplement with other materials as needed. I have taught dozens students from over 20 countries about songwriting, guitar playing, singing, lyric writing, piano, ukulele and more. Since 2011 I have played in over 1000 stages, starting in my hometown of Corrientes, Argentina, at first playing on the streets for tips and later moving onto bars, later theaters, and now touring full time. Teaching has always been something I have gravitated towards, specially after several requests from my listeners.
