I then went on to acquire my own students, and travelled around the greater Boston area teaching children and adults in their homes. I have also taught out of many local music stores. I am an active, professional composer of opera, choral music, wind and orchestral music, chamber music, art song, film music, and dance music. Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you see your pupils happily growing and accomplishing every goal they set up for themselves. Since everyone is unique and works at their own pace, I don't think it's fair to approach every student the same way. It is of paramount importance that instructors not only pay close attention to their student's progress, but also their lack of progress in whatever areas they may be struggling in. Read More

I believe in individual piano lessons for my students. Traditionally I have taught using Faber's Piano Adventures and the Alfred Series. I also have used the Bastian series.
