I do not subscribe to a specific style of/approach to teaching. I try to ascertain what a student hopes to accomplish when possible and plot a path toward achieving that end. As a kid, I had many lessons and teachers that I did not enjoy going to, and I don't want that to be the case for my lessons. My style is very interactive in not teaching the students, but demonstrating what are the proper ways to approach different praticing techniques and repertoire selections. With my vocal lessons I have students do proper warm-up techniques and various scales before we begin working on vocal selections.  Afterwards I use repetition with the repertoire in order to help the students with skills that are needed to perform any particular piece including intonation, diction, and breathing. I have taken ABRSM London School of Music exams and continued to showcase my skills in school, shows, and gigs. My training in piano started from when I was 5 years old. Since then, I continuously took piano lesson and have had performed on the stage as well. I continued my training in piano at the University of Hartford under David Westfall, Paul Rutman, Susan Cheng and Grace Smith. From Manhattan School of Music, I studied composition/theory with Richard Danielpour and Reiko Fueting, and piano with Lisa Yui.
