You become great by how much effort you put into the application of my guidance through your own practice." I cannot make you the performer you want to be. I can only guide you through the process. This is why I am always excited to bring on a new student. Each student I have worked with holds a special place with me. When we teach music, we share the joy of the songs of life with each other! When we learn music together as teacher and learner, we unlock the treasures of sound and allow songs to break forth. I have a great passion for teaching music! Making music makes the world a better place. Music is, however, demanding and requires regular practice in order to improve. Improving a musical project brings us deeper into the actual piece of music we would study together. Read More

I teach not only how to play the chosen instrument, but also about its history and its role across musical styles. Music is fun, and while hard work and practice are important and essential, so is enjoyment of music and enjoyment of one's instrument. I passed the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exam in 2012 and the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Performance exam in 2016. I also won several music scholarships during high school. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. With time, I became more and more aware of my teaching abilities, musical theory, and the responsibility that it was to take someone under your musical guidance and became more and more passionate about passing on the much or little knowledge that I have gathered along the way. I'm nothing if not energetic and relatable. My lessons are a safe space to be yourself, and to come more and more out of your shell. Music is a fantastic form of therapy, personal growth, and self-expression, and I do everything I can to foster these. Together, we'll set realistic goals and I will hold you to them, encouraging you constantly, and gladly calling you out on your fear or laziness. Read More
