As a piano tutor at California Baptist University, I was helping beginner piano students to prepare for piano proficiency exams. I have been teaching for seven and half years. I have taught ages five years old to seventy years old. I am patient, kind, and and very encouraging teacher. I am an excellent musician as well. All of my students improve vastly and enjoy their lessons, which are fun and focused. I assign them pieces they want to learn whether it be classical, blues, pop, or jazz. During my time as an undergrad student I taught percussion and basic piano lessons in the local area. Since leaving school in 2014 I have continued my music education and focused on teaching young children both group and individual.
