I have recently graduated with Doctoral of Musical Arts at The Ohio State University under guidance of Katherine Borst Jones and as a soloist I have performed for "Franz Devienne Flute Concerto No. 7 in e minor" with The Ohio State University Symphony Orchestra. I believe that each student is unique, and what works for one student might not be sutiable for another. (Piano adventures, Alfred, Faber and Faber, ect) For piano we always do Theory , Technic, and go through a song book which will take you gradually through the levels and correspond the Theory and technique lessons.
