My teaching experience dates back to my high school days in Hong Kong, as I began teaching violin private lessons part time 14 years ago, and had been consistently teaching students in my home studio and a local music center for 8 years before I moved to the United States in 2012. In 2012-2014, I was hired as a violinist of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Once they have progressed of study, I would like to introduce some solo repertoires with beautiful melody line for their recital performance. If a student loves playing by ear, we seek knowledge of composition more, if they are inspired to play Star Wars, we add that to the repertoire.
