In middle school, I began performing and teaching music during the summers at Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-10. Throughout high school, as a member of a variety of bands, I performed at a wide array of venues around New England. During this time, I ventured into song writing and musical arrangement. I also spent some time giving private trombone, bass, and guitar lessons in high school. Along with teaching music, I have much experience working with students ages 2-18 as a summer camp sports director, youth director at a teen center, and a soccer coach and trainer. Read More

In college, I began teaching private lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, as well as leading advanced ensembles made up of college-level musicians. Working with students of all ages inspired me to have high expectations of them, and to motivate each one of them to be the best musician and student they can be. Read More

What music do the students enjoy? What inspires them? Who are their musical influences? I have taught students to have developmental issues. I have taught gifted students. The biggest teaching method I have is to be flexible because no two students learn alike. Read More

I want to help as much as possible in your sons and daughters (or yours) musical development. Sometimes just a new song will provide a lift - there are so many possibilities. Read More
