We gradually increase the tempo over the next several weeks. Pieces like that will be rehearsed at the end of each lesson after working through a few passages in Alfreds book. At the beginning, I ask my adults what music theyre interested in learning. I was the Concert Choir section leader in College and found leadership and spreading my love for music to be exhilarating! I encourage all of my students to set a reasonable practice schedule to get themselves into the habit of practicing and really reaching their full potential as a student. I began teaching my first piano student when I was 14 years old. I have since enjoyed teaching in many different ways. I've taught private students, homeschool choruses, pre-K-8th grade (using music curriculum that I created), 8th grade science students, large choirs of beautiful angelic children's voices, adult church choirs, youth and adult bands, gospel choirs, reading literacy students,and soldier medicshow to prepare for their responsibilities. In 2010, I graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sacred Music. During my time at PC, I sang and accompanied the Presbyterian College Choir, Cantare!
