My teaching experience started in 1984 in Russia, when I was a college student. Those days I worked part time at music school. Then I taught private lessons in Vancouver, Canada for 6 years. As technique improves, so will the sound. I work on intonation and a good bowing arm technique. I can play and they repeat. It helps that I can accompany on the piano if one is available, but if not, the students can listen to me play to help with intonation.
