  I desire to instill the love of music in my students, teaching them to both enjoying and explore the world of sound. I obtained my Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Ball State University. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and began teaching piano at the age of 18. I have had experiences playing for churches, and other instrumentalists. My teaching experience started last year when I took a vocal pedagogy class, it gave me the knowledge and confidence to give positive and helpful feedback to all levels of singers. I have had one student so far, and we focused on classical music. Piano - there are as many method books as there are different kinds of pianos! I use, but am not limited to, the following: Faber, Noona, Wunderkeys, Pianotown, Alfred, Helen Mier, Snell, and more. I like to start any student that comes to me with what they already have. For a young student - I will start with Faber as it is the easiest to understand for younger players. My playing experience dates back over ten years while my teaching experience dates back four years. I have had the opportunity to travel to Europe and South America to perform with symphony orchestras. I spent my college days making extra spending cash playing in weddings and small events.
