In May of 2017 I graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. Performance has taught me multiple languages, taken me around the U.S. and parts of Europe, working with the top musicians in the world. I have been teaching piano since 2005 and been very active in Greater Boston area since 2014. I've had students aged from 4 to mid-50. I also worked as a tutor at Berklee College of Music during my study. Dicipline may be the most important thing to emphasize in the very beginning stage of learning. But I see learning piano more as a creative process, encouraging students to have a personal connection with the instrument by introducing songs they know, helping them to write simple songs and so on.
