I started teaching one-on-one so the students could get the results for strengthening their voice. My teaching experience began in college when I start teaching my first voice students in 2017. I have taught voice lessons to beginners who need help matching pitch. I have taught voice lessons to college students with varying performance backgrounds! I constantly strive to provide my students with a safe space so that learning can be as easy and fun as possible. For students of all ages, I like to lead with the quote from Marcel Moyse; "Practicing is a matter a time, patience and intelligent work", for I believe that once this is applied to the idea of practicing and general encounters with ones instrument, then success and progress is guaranteed. Aside from that principle, I like the idea of independent work from students to keep them accountable on the journey to becoming a musician but a more interactive and demonstrative approach during the lesson to give students an idea of what needs to be done while being that good role model so that they may keep motivated work hard at becoming the best possible musicians.
