I have learned from some of the best teachers in and around Los Angeles, having studied for 4+ years in the early 1990s.  I love to hear good vocals.  It is heaven.  I love the pure, clean and raw sound.  I will help you get there and stay there.

I have been teaching for the past 11 years and have had a full studio of 20-25 students during that time. Over the past four summers I have also directed chamber music and fiddle music camps. I specialize in starting very young children on the violin, as young as age 2, although depending on the child starting between ages 3-6 is ideal. It is very important to me to tailer my teaching to each student and their developmental and musical level. I love introducing children to new musical concepts and coming alongside them on this often life-long musical journey. There is unique relationship that forms during private music lessons, one that can have a large impact on the student, and I take that responsibility very seriously. That said, I like to make learning to play the violin as fun and easy as possible without sacrificing fundamental technique. I have had great sucess with various practice stragegies and find my students are highly motivated by these. I encourage performing at a young age and often, along with participating in music festivals and, as they become older, youth orchestras and chamber groups.

Everybody is different, and everyone responds to different types of motivation. As a teacher it is part of my job to find out what that is for each student. I believe that success breeds success, and starting with achieveable goals and realizing results will motivate and inspire a student, but there is also no getting around practice, you must put in the time on your instrument to be successful and to progress. That being said, the point of learning to play music is to have fun and enjoy it. There must be joy in, and love of, playing your instrument, that's why it's called playing!

I loved teaching violin with students for all ages. I'm a self-employed violin and piano teacher. I enjoy playing my violin in other orchestra with Crown City Symphony in Altadena, Corelli Ensemble, Southland Symphony Orchestra and Palos Verdes Regional Orchestra. In 2014, I graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a degree in Violin Performance. My great experience is to play as a professional orchestra performance to enjoy myself playing all around the world.

I feel joy to see students serious about study piano and I feel more gladness to see students progress. But sometimes teaching style it depends on student's preference, learning ability, learning speed. - To know where to start teach, in each beginning of piano lesson, student take few minutes quiz, this is for me as a piano teacher know what students need to work on the piano keyboard -By end of the piano lesson, to make student progress play piano, I will assign two songs for students practice at their leisure time
