I have had the opportunity to travel to Europe and South America to perform with symphony orchestras. I spent my college days making extra spending cash playing in weddings and small events. After I assess the ability level, I find level-appropriate method books, scale studies, etudes, tone exercises, sight reading, and solo repertoire. I use method books that I am personally familiar with and like, but am open to looking for new, exciting options. I have spent the past three years teaching group and individual lessons in pop and classical guitar as part of my graduate studies at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. This means I have taught college-aged students exclusively, up to this point. However, I am completely open to teaching students of all ages.
