From this book, students learn basic rhythmic concepts and how to read them, and they develop the coordination to play them on snare drum and drum set. I graduated with honours from Music Theory and Conducting at the Krzysztof Penderecki Music Academy in Krakow - One of the most prominent music academies in Poland! After I received a doctoral degree I have started my career as the Music Director of the Academy Symphony Orchestra. If you are in my studio, you are here to work. Practice is not necessarily fun. I've been teaching for 4 years privately and have been teaching through Guitar Center for 1 year as well as teaching through other private lesson applications. I've seen that students grow faster in places that they're more passionately driven, so I want to provide a space for any student to learn or take steps to learning what they want to on their instrument, while also providing structure and giving other feedback along the way. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in drumset performance. I was afforded the chance to work with and learn from many great musicians and notable jazz drummers such as Jeff Hamilton, Matt Wilson, John Riley, Jeff Coffin, etc. I have led many gigging bands, and have a lot of experience playing out and working with other musicians.
