Due to completing my education, I had to temporarily cease private teaching and have recently begun again with the pandemic becoming more under control. Soon afterwards, I landed a teaching job with Howard Early Music there, one of the more reputable music chains in that area. For beginning students, I usually prefer to use the Suzuki method, as this is the method I grew up on, and I prefer to teach the knowledge that I find useful in the method. However, my lessons are not solely based on my preference, as I identify individual strengths and weaknesses and target those in the sessions. Ability level also has a big role in planning the direction of the lesson, as I do not use Suzuki for advanced students. Read More
