In my lessons, I push a strong routine of consistent practice to help improve endurance and stamina. I taught students in my community orchestra, as well as a basic music theory class there. After high school, I took on a couple of private students for my college professors, whom I intermittently taught throughout my bachelors degree. As everyone is different, I adapt my teaching to their particular personality and needs. She received her bachelor and master’s degrees at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of Cleveland Orchestra Principal Cellist, Mark Kosower. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in cello performance at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music where she studies with Professor Alan Rafferty. In addition to her performances on stage, Ms. Ma has appeared in movies with famous actors such as Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith, Justin Chatwin, Peter Stormare and Elizabeth Anweis. Read More
