For beginning students who are children, I typically like to start with rudiments and technique studies. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will introduce the Moeller method. Later will move to the drumset and apply all 3 methods and became to develop what I like to call he groove and bass excises and different warm ups. My first teaching experience actually begins in my teens when I would teach my little brothers how to play the cello. This has given me important experience in teaching young children from the age as young as 4 years old. From there on I have taught other children and some adults totaling 3 years of total teaching experience. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Cincinnati to continue her studies with a Graduate Incentive Award Scholarship. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. At CCM she studied chamber music under Ariel Quartet and was a member of CCM Philharmonia and Concert Orchestra. She performed four solo recitals and two chamber recitals during her Master’s program. I began taking lessons on the guitar at age 8 and continues with a few different instructors all throughout my life, and still do.  I started studying Classical Guitar my Sophomore year of High School. I started teaching the guitar in 1990 at age 18 in a local music store. I was able to perform and teach while earning an Associates in Liberal Arts at The University of Cincinnati, where my intention was to enter their Jazz guitar program as I had begun studying it at their prep department.
