I want students to be confident and successful, so I will do anything in my power to help them learn good technique and practice habits. For all of my piano students, I use Nancy and Randall Faber's Piano Adventures. Students ages 3-5 use the My First Piano Adventure series, which moves at a slightly slower pace and contains more parent/teacher activities. Students ages 6-12 (where most of my students are) use the standard Piano Adventures progression. Older students (age 13 and up) use the Accelerated Piano Adventures series, which is designed specifically for use with older beginners. Read More

In middle school, I began performing and teaching music during the summers at Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-10. Throughout high school, as a member of a variety of bands, I performed at a wide array of venues around New England. During this time, I ventured into song writing and musical arrangement.
