Introduce something new each lesson, and juggle the "lessons" a little, until they settle. We sometimes work on grooves that are on songs the student likes, and would like to learn to play. I will break the groove apart and go over it together with the students. Rudiments and hand technique are important to have. There is a metronome PA sound system, we can work in any tempos, with snare drums. Read More

My approach to singing comes from the Bel Canto school of singing. Bel Canto is Italian for beautiful singing and while I was trained this way, I believe in meeting students at their vocal level and build from there. I dont subscribe to the one size fits all method because we all perceive our voices very differently. Throughout my university years, I had some teachers who got frustrated when they instructed me to sing a certain way that I could not understand and I never want my students to be confused or feel misunderstood during our lessons. I have an arsenal of exercises and tools that I apply as needed for each student, and generally give each student an overview with lots of reinforcement in subsequent lessons at my concepts of technique. We work a lot with sheet music and a keyboard or piano is needed for the work. Read More

I would implement my own style of teaching , where I will try to keep the class as fun as possible, try to inspire them to learn guitar with passion and interest. Also, I want to share my knowledge to the best of my abilities, and teach them in a right direction to achieve their goals. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with basic guitar lesson, where I sometimes refer to good books such as Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. Read More

I have lived in London, New York City, and Los Angeles, and have worked in each city, leading my experience to be unique and easily adaptable. I have found a lot of success with students when I am consistently encouraging them to perform in front of Pias and family. This is how I became a music, professional, and hope to get my students there also. Read More

When I were young, my father was a my great teacher, always encouraging and instilling in me the value of music as a spiritual value. That helps me develop both mentally and physically, so I also wish to impart my knowledge to students. Teaching music is an art of communication in which I hope to convey excitement and complete each task well. On stage, I evaluate each student individually and most of them try to perform well and after performing they always look towards me as if proud of having complete their duty with a happy smile. First of all, I would ask the student if music would be his/her career or just a hobby. If it is to be his/her career, my approach would be more theoretical. But if it would be just a hobby like mine, I would encourage the student to learn by ear supplemented with a little theory to be able to learn a musical piece or song in the shortest time possible.
