Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. My method of teaching is very an easy one. I start off by teaching them the correct way to breath. I will also require them to do some breathing excerises. Once I feel they understand how to breath well. I then will teach them how to sing. I teach Classically trained Violin, viola, and piano. I am equally comfortable teaching very beginners as well as high school and adult students. I am very honest in my feedback. I like to stick to the former. I strongly believe that a good, strong foundation leads to fewer problems in the future and makes the process of music-making much more enjoyable. I earned valuable skills while touring and teaching and found a niche while working with kids of which helped create my specialized children's teaching curriculum. Whether it's teaching children or adults, beginning classes start with basic snare rudimentary concepts with Stick Control and a Rudiment Dictionary.
