I have a lot of passion for voice and I want my students to progress. In my own journey, it's taken years of daily practice to see real results and change. I push my students to practice daily for at least an hour and I give specific vocalizations that will help strengthen particular weaknesses in each voice. What I like to do in my studio is, set realistic goals for the student. I use "challenges" to help students achieve their goals. And reward them when they achieve them. I like using a lot of games as well to make piano learning fun. So I teach a lot of theory aspects using games with timers, and flash cards, dry erase dices and prizes when goals are meant. For beginning students I focus on the fundamentals of playing a saxophone: Setting up your instrument, reading music, breath training, and embouchure. Once the student progresses to a bit higher level, we start with rudimentary songs that allow the student to work on playing full songs. For more musically experienced students new to saxophone, I still start with the same foundational training and set up, but have a more rapid approach to having them play full songs in genre's they enjoy. In January 2004 I left Stockholm for Madrid, looking for new experiences as a Percussionist, Composer and Producer. In Spain I shared stage as well as studios with various artist such as Aute, Beatriz Luengo, Andy Lucas, Victoria Abril, David Bisbal, Paco Ortega, Habana Blues, David Bustamante, YADAM and Cruceta Flamenco among many others. I then moved to Miami, where I have been residing for the past 12 years.
