I am from a traditional classical singing background. I use vocal exercises to not only strenghen the voice but to build a strong singing foundation. Hopefully, by the end of the lessons there will be no need for a microphone. For young singers we will focus on classic tradional basic song literature as well as have fun with popular music. For adults, I try to find out what music they are interested in and have then tell me they're top song to learn, I try to get them to play something within the first hour.
