Overview:

I am a musician who is very passionate about the art of playing guitar.  I love teaching and I love spreading my music knowledge to all who are willing to learn.

EXPERIENCE

From 2006 to 2009 I taught under Jason Beaudreau at the Guitar Woodshed in Niagara Falls, NY.  Students ranged from ages 7 to 60.  During these years I discovered some different approaches to teaching different age groups.

METHODS USED

I like to have a nice blend between two general areas of study with my students.  I ideally like to spend half of the lesson time focusing on the more academic side of things and the other half on just playing tunes.  Academic material would include things like sight-reading and basic music theory to truly educate my student about music while playing tunes (of the student's choosing) is a way to make it more of a fun environment.  I feel that having this balance will alow me to train my students with a proper education while still being relaxed and having fun.

LESSON STYLE

My teaching style is focused on getting a well-rounded education of music and guitar playing while still maintaining a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
