I have both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in music education. Flute is my primary instrument but I also am proficient at many other instruments.
I love teaching music. I really enjoy my job of teaching general music at an elementary school.
I have taught private lessons for eight years and general music at a school for five years.
I currently use Essential Elements 2000, but I am flexible if you would prefer something different. I supplement the method book by providing the student with additional exercises that I have found to be helpful in both my education and experience.
I structure my lessons to fit the needs of the individual student. Lessons will encompass a variety of activities to help the student improve in technique, sound production, and all aspects of reading music.
