For older students and adults, we really dive into technique and vocal health, with a strong emphasis on technicalities like breath support and placement, and then use that foundation to branch out into multiple genres. I am a freelance cellist who records and performs frequiently with local artist in the Oklahoma City Metro area. I also perform regularly with the Oklahoma City String Quartet. In 2015 I graduated from the Oklahoma City University with a Master's Degree in Cello Performance, and in 2013 from the Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Piano and Cello Performance. I began giving private lessons in 2003, and have taught in my own studio since 2010. I have taught group percussion to elementary -aged students and worked with a high school band and percussion ensemble. My teaching experience began in high school, as I began teaching children in a group setting. I worked at a children's educational summer camp where I instructed choirs and chorus singers for Musical Theater.
