I have a different method for every level student. I start beginners with Hal Leonard's or Mel Bay's Guitar Method books. These books are clear to any age and can be picked up by any student. After these books have been completed, I introduce popular single melody, guitar technique and full tab/sheet solo repertoire books. Daniel is a versatile musician, composer, and educator. He began playing saxophone at age 11, and has since expanded his repertoire to include multiple woodwind instruments. Originally from midcoast Maine, Daniel has been based primarily out of New York since 2008 when he began his studies at Purchase College. My practice is an evidenced-based one. I chose exercises that are specifically tailored to a certain vocal idea or skill that we are working on. From there, we modify the exercise to meet the needs of the student's unique body and other student specific needs (i.e. previous habits, personality type, etc.).
