While attending Berklee, I had countless one-on-one and small group sessions with fellow drummers where we would bounce ideas off one another and give each other "mini lessons," breaking down specific grooves and licks. In October, 2014, I led an hour-long master class for other Berklee percussion students about advanced polyrhythmic concepts and applications. If the student has been playing their instrument without lessons I investigate what sounds and styles they apparently are drawn to and consider that when planning lessons. I have been teaching music in public schools for the last 5 years. I graduated from Keene State College in 2013 with a degree in Music Education and a focus on Instrumental Music. In 2016 I went to and graduated from the US Army School of Music as a tenor saxophone player. During my time at the school of music I also played the alto and baritone saxophones.
