As I became older, I went from recorder, to saxophones, to improvisation, to piano, to singing, to flute, to basic wind instruments, eventually playing/composing/recording/touring with several of the most well-known of bands in the Southeastern Wisconsin area on vocals, saxophones, flute, and piano, as well as studying music at Carroll College. I first got into music when I was in elementary school. My first instrument was the upright bass fiddler. This help me learn the notes on the bass clef. I later learned to play trumpet which was the instrument that used to audition to get into the Navy Band. I also played piano for college that I worked at called the College of Lake County in Greyslake, IL. I now play the electronic piano at the church that I attend, Parklawn Assembly of God. Read More

I began teaching the clarinet in 2016 at Highland Park High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. 7 of my 8 students in 2016 placed in the TMEA Region Band, and another 2 went on to the 5A TMEA All-State Symphonic Band. In 2017, I had another student place in the 5A TMEA All-State Symphonic Band. I took up an additional job teaching at William B Travis TAG Academy in Dallas, where I taught beginners and 7th graders.
