Hello! My name is Danny and I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been playing guitar for 15 years, and play in a band. I enjoy playing various styles but specialize in rock, metal, and pop. I am happy to teach students any style they want to learn, although I specialize in teaching rockers how to shred!
My teaching experience dates back to my senior year in high school when I started tutoring younger guitarists in the jazz band. That was 8 years ago. Since then, I've been teaching a number of students in their own homes, online, and even in my band's recording studio!
I like to keep things laid back, but at the same time challenging. I create my own custom tailored lesson material to fit each student's skill level, goals, and interests.
My teaching approach is custom tailored to each student I teach. I like to combine teaching technique and skills with teaching songs that the student wants to learn, and that also use the skills and techniques we are trying to accomplish. I also provide and create all the lesson materials each week. No boring music books! No paying for lesson materials as I provide them all! Each lesson is fun, exciting, and challenging at the same time.
