Instruments: Bass Guitar Double Bass
I have 5 years of teaching experience which started when I was in college. I taught for a Saturday morning program they have for middle and high school students. In that program, I taught private bass lessons as well as theory classes consisting of 30 students each. Privately, I have taught students ranging from 10 to 75 years old. I have found that every student enjoys the instrument in a different way. It is my job to harness that and engage them with what they love and the technique they are going to need to get there. Instruments: Voice
Im a recent graduate of Lebanon Valley College (2022) looking to teach Choral Vocal Technique! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music and am currently working on my masters degree in Vocal Chamber Music at the University of Redlands! This program is headed by former member of the Kings Singers, Christopher Gabbitas. An individual approach to choral singing is something that the community severely lacks! I have 14 years of choral experience and would love to pass that on to my students! Read More

Teaching started in my college years, taking up opportunities to teach family and friends for fun. Ironically, my first student happened to be my dad. The experience was so uplifting to him that he began to seek oppotunitites to perform occasionally at his church! That moment was a huge factor in wanting to pursue private instruction. It's worth teaching because you can inspire any and everybody to learn and play music. Read More
Instruments: Flute
I began teaching as a young kid in middle and high school. I would give informal lessons to my peers, and this is what started my interest in teaching. I continued this path teaching classical flute and jazz improvisation to anyone who would listen to me! In college, I worked with the saxophone players in the jazz department helping them develop their flute sound as a doubles instrument. Now, I am teaching private lessons in the Philadelphia area to all ages and abilities! Read More
Instruments: Double Bass
During my teaching experience I had the chance to work with people from different ages, with different goals and levels of development. This helped me compile a system that I have been using for the past 13 years. Having worked with a very diverse group of teaches myself, I combine the classical traditions of the Bulgarian and Western European double bass methods of Todor Toshev, Simandl and Bottesini with contemporary ones such as Rabbath, Levinson, Thomas Martin and others. Instruments: Piano Saxophone Flute Clarinet
I first began teaching while still completing my Bachelors degree at William Paterson in 2011. Most of my students were beginning level piano students, but I had a few more advanced students as well as some people studying saxophone with me. My teaching philosophy is to combine teaching the technique of an instrument with learning songs as well as theory and improvisation/composition. Everyone learns technique, but learning music that I wanted to learn, learning how those songs were written (theory), and eventually elaborating on those songs (improvisation), and writing my own music (composition), was what really got me deeply engaged in the act of practicing and making music, and I have found over several years of teaching that it keeps my students engaged and enjoying the learning process. Instruments: Drums Mallet Percussion Orchestral Percussion
I have 3 years of teaching experience, beginning when I was in college. I highly encourage regular practice because it gets the student comfortable with the fundamentals of their instrument. Eventually, this will allow creative freedom for them as they progress with their studies. I want my students to feel confident about their progress and abilities, so I encourage them to play with other musicians. Being a part of rhythm section can be a fun but pressuring aspect of being in an ensemble. Read More
