I completed the piano coursework at the Westminster Choir College at Rider University when I was in high school. I have been teaching for 5 years to a wide range of ages. I like to make my lessons fun but also encourage hard work! I take an individualistic approach to teaching, tailoring my lessons to my students. I teach violin for all levels and beginner/intermediate piano. I encourage all my students to learn how to read music and have a basic understanding of theory. I have been thrilled to perform in musical theater throughout Colorado and to find myself loving opera here in New York. I have been regularly teaching Euphonium, Tuba, and Trombone since 2020. I was primary Euphonium staff at 3 High Schools and 5 middle schools. I've taught ages 10-70, and my students regualrly find success at both solo and ensemble competitions, as well as regional and all state bands. I teach a wide range of materials, from method books and solos, to pop songs and marching tunes.
