Through the foundation I've gained by the influences of Mel Bay, Hal Leonard, and Suzuki musical instruction methods, I compile my own teaching materials. Using personally constructed guitar lessons, I demonstrate, instruct, and guide the student based on my assessment of their individual needs, skill level, and progress. Lessons are formulated in Modules, and advancement through them is based on the student's personal aptitude, skill level, and practice commitment. I fell in love with music at a young age, hearing relatives sing and play, and began taking guitar and bass lessons as a teen.  I then majored in bass and music at Onondaga Community College, which is known for it's music program.  I have had the opportunity to tour the country with a band out of Austin, Texas, as a signed professional musician with a national act.  I recorded a love show for XM Radio, and have had a song played on NPR. I am a classically trained pianist from the New York area who has performed chamber music and solo recitals throughout the world including Steinway Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Tenri Cultural Institute. I have been a featured artist at the International Bergen Arts Festival, held in Bergen Norway. I have won prizes in numerous competitions including first prize in the Grieg Young Artist Piano Competition held in Sarasota, Florida in 2015. Read More
