I believe keeping my lesson plans in line with a student's particular passion for music is the key to success. For younger students, I like to use the Leila Fletcher piano books, unless they (or their parents) express a preference for another lesson series. I began teaching in 2009, with private students. The following year, I began working with non-profit organization, for two years, that brought music to at-risk and underprivileged children. After working with them, I began working with the Baton Rouge Arts Council, bringing music and music appreciation to elementary school class rooms for children and schools that did not have a music teacher, on staff. I began teaching while I was still a student at the Conservatory of Music in the 1990's I was Voice Teacher at the Intermezzo Music School in Guaynabo, PR. I taught all ages from 7 - 69. I stayed there for 7 years. I also gave private singing lessons to students at my own home in Carolina, PR.
