Instruments: Voice
I usually start with breathing exercises and vocalises for all students. I also use the exercise books Concone and Sieber. After the student has grasped the breathing and the coordination of the vocalises we move on to repertoire that is age appropriate. I encourage my students to sing in Italian as this helps them to acquire a proper technique because Italian uses pure vowels. I have studied with some great teachers and feel like I need to pass on those methods to the next generation of musicians. Read More

No matter which instrument I give lessons on, my overall goal and desire is that the student first, has FUN, second, sees themselves progressing on their instrument, and thirdly, get to experience the joy, satisfaction and confidence one gains in playing the songs they enjoy themselves. To see smiles appear on faces of students, and hear how excited they were the first time they played a popular song they know and love well in front of some else. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
I believe in fostering a strong foundation of vocal technique while also nurturing creativity and expression. Whether a student is interested in mastering classical operatic repertoire or delving into contemporary styles, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive guidance that encompasses vocal technique, interpretation, and performance skills. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and skill levels. From beginners taking their first steps in vocal training to advanced singers preparing for auditions or performances, each student brings a unique journey and set of goals. Read More
Instruments: Piano
I have three areas of emphasis in my teaching: provide the student with a balanced repertoire, demand correct technique, and require a solid foundation in music theory. I will provide my students with opportunities to participate in recitals, festivals, contests, and state theory exams. Students are given clear and precise instruction at each weekly lesson as to what they should accomplish in their practice sessions during the week for the succeeding week. Read More

My main goal and teaching is to inspire self motivation and make it fun! I like to pick songs that are fun to play and challenging at the same time depending on what level you are at that time. By doing this I think keeping the instrument out and not in the closet is a good start that way if the inspiration hits you and you want to play it is within your reach "guitar stand and wall hangers are ideal" and not in the case the put away " Out of sight out of mind" I suggest buying a music stand for your instruments and or wall hangers which seem to work very well as a display and also so the instrument is within your reach. Instruments: Drums Mallet Percussion Orchestral Percussion
My style of teaching is simple, I want the student to have fun with it, but be challenged at the same time. I always start my lessons by finding out why the student wants to learn the drums, to me this is very important because it allows me to figure out the best way to teach the student, as well as keep it interesting for them. Nothing is more important to me than seeing a student reach his or her personal goals on the instrument so, I do my best to help them accomplish them. Read More
