Music has been a passion of mine my entire life. I started piano at the age of 4, flute at the age of 10, and sang throughout. I have enjoyed performing in many venues from coffee shops to churches to big music halls; functions from weddings and funerals to special dinners; and just for fun with family and friends. I individualize my teaching methods for each student based on their ability level. After I assess the ability level, I find level-appropriate method books, scale studies, etudes, tone exercises, sight reading, and solo repertoire. I use method books that I am personally familiar with and like, but am open to looking for new, exciting options. I make sure that the students feels comfortable with materials, but is also challanged so that they may progress in their skills. Read More

I graduated college in the Spring of 2020 and then proceeded to get a temporary teaching job as a orchestra director in Pike Township for the first half of the year. This was followed by an elementary teaching position in the same township. I then took a step back to focus on my playing. I am now teaching private lessons and part time saxophone a Pendleton Heights Middle School. Still in search of a full time teaching position but this is something I have always wanted to pursue.
