I love to see kids progress in music and become excited about it!! My teaching style is very paced and hands on. If a student isn't getting something, I like to slow it down until they they do. I'm very complimentary and positive during lessons; this helps the student be confident. I also try to give the student a guideline on how to practice and how to pace themselves throughout this process. Read More

The handouts are in color and done with a graphics program so they're not handwritten. I teach them to play scales with a metronome and they are usually playing 16 th notes and counting it out while they play it in the first month.I want to get them off and running. I teach them to read chord charts in the first month and have students reading notation in F and G clef in 5-6 hours worth of lesson time. Read More

The most important thing for me is to make sure my students are having fun and developing an interest and deep appreciation for their craft. By taking into account their personal goals and aspirations, while also implementing long and short-term goals, my students enjoy rapid progress and develop a strong passion for drums. Read More

I"ve been teaching professionally for about 3 years now, but I've been in front of students for the past 10 years. Wether it be in a sunday School class or a daycare teaching ABC's, teaching has always been my passion. Nothing is more satisfying than when a student understands and LOVES the subject matter, especially in the music arena. Read More

Being able to teach others and share my knowledge is what drives me, so I like to see progress. I have a goal-oriented approach that differs depending on the individual, but the results are always there. I love feeling the satisfaction of a student learning. Not to mention the relationships that are built and how much I learn from them in turn! It truly is a give and take relationship, just another individual sharing experience and knowledge. Read More

I strictly teach a practical and real world approach that quite frankly is not in any "textbooks" out there. I developed this approach through 25 years of playing professionally in a variety of genres (CCM/Worship, Pop, Country/Folk/Americana, etc.) and helping dozens of artists in those various genres as a music industry consultant. My method of guitar instruction is best suited for an individual who is interested in pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter regardless of the specific genre. Read More

I am very passionate and dedicated about my playing. It is not easy but the end result is well worth the effort. I graduated from Free Will Baptist Bible Collage in 2008 with my Bachelor of Art in flute performance I also took my flute lessons at Belmont University. Since then I've played in various mediums, and really got a greater appreciation in slowly frogressing in my sucsess as a flute player. whilebi never thought I'd be a teacher, it's always a wonderful feeling to pass down the tradition of good flute playing.
