My name is Courtney and I am a recent college graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in vocal performance and a minor in musical theater. While my major primarily concentrated on opera, I specialize in classical, musical theater, and pop singing. My favorite books to use for students are the Rubank and Klose methods along with the Albert Scale book. My curriculum is created personally for each student based on their needs, progress rate, and level. No matter what the age, I begin with long tones, which really help to build endurance and control of air. Proper usage of air is top priority with wind instruments.
