Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students develop a passion for the trumpet and music. Therefore, it is very important to me that I make the lessons both fun and productive for the students. I will gear my teaching style to whatever works best for the individual student. If the student wants to be pushed hard then I can do that or if they just want to have fun and play music, I am fine with that too. Read More

I have made a lot of sheets/handouts that I have collected over the years and give these out to my students for free, this has worked well for most students. I try to adapt my teaching style to fit any student and help them achieve their goals and believe the best teachers are able to break down complex ideas or difficult concepts into simple steps that any student can follow. Instruments: Clarinet
Each one of my students receives highly individualized and personalized lesson plans. I work closely with the student (and/or their parent) to discuss their goals and aspirations for clarinet lessons. From these discussions I will develop personalized lesson plans to help them reach their goals. In all of my lessons I emphasize the use of fundamentals to develop technique. Without the proper foundation it is impossible to develop the skills necessary to become successful clarinetists. Read More
