My particular brand of brass pedagogy has roots that trace back to the Chicago Symphony's legendary Bud Herseth. I believe in the pursuit of mastery of many of the basic techniques of brass playing - air movement, flexibility, and tone are the most important pieces of what we do as brass players, and I have collected an arsenal of exercises to build skill in these areas. For my piano students, I use different method and technique books in order to help my students learn the basics.  This includes how to properly read their sheet music so that they can pratice their skills by themselves.  I also use repetition and demonstrate different pratice skills so that my students can further advance their piano skills. I began to assist to my percussion at the age of 16. First just as a helper, then my teacher began to transfer me some of his students. I have taught classical percussion rudiments on the snare drum and keyboard instruments as well as drum set.
