Overview:
I'm friendly, motivated and patient instructor. I love working with students and inspire them to love music. How do I inspire them? I demonstrate and teach beautiful music to my students.
I graduated Music School and Grodno Music College in 1980 with Diploma Piano Teacher and Piano accompanist. Performing with Minsk Philharmonic Orchestra has been one of the greater experience in my live as a musician . I've had an opportunity to play in Minsk theater as choir accompanist.
EXPERIENCE
I have over 25years of experience teaching piano. After I graduate college, I was working in Music School in Russia for 10 years. From 2004 I'm teaching piano in my home studio. Encouraging regular practice is a key to success. My lessons include music history, music theory, sight reading and unique technique which will help students to understand the music they like and try to give them enough tools to play it.
I would love to teach you! All it takes is willing heart and lot of practice.
METHODS USED
For beginning students , I usually start with Faber& Faber method. In my opinion this is very popular method, created by Nancy and Randall Faber. Faber & Faber is a series of books for young and older beginner students. From the start I'm teaching students to play with expression and pay attention to music details. As soon as a student learned fundamental skills , I introduce and work with solo repertoire which is suitable for their first solo performance. For adults I'm using Alfred's Piano Course.
LESSON STYLE
I have an individual approach to every student. I'm choosing for them individual program which is suitable for their abilities (from intermediate level ). I love to see how they are making progress. Practice is a key to success. Even talented people need to practice in order to achieve a great success. And my goal is to teach my student to love music. For that I'm giving my students more lyrical, expressive and romantic style music which they love and they successfully progress.
