I draw from a wealth of numerous musical resources. I believe in facilitating healthy technique as it is the foundation of the physical aspect of playing. I combine this with the theoretical essentials, learning scales, intervals, reading music, improvising and conceptualizing. I advocate these aspects subject to the needs of the student. Read More

Music is the world’s universal language and I believe everyone should be able to enjoy it. I graduated from North Middlesex Regional Highschool in 2010, shortly thereafter, I jumped into the music industry by playing shows across the country, doing session and fill-in work for other musicians, and expanding my horizons. Along the way, I’ve taken lessons from greats like Mike Mangini(Extreme, Steve Vai, and Dream Theater) and Thomas Pridgen(The Mars Volta, Destiny’s Child, etc.) In 2016, I joined Philadelphia based Progressive Metal band, Kaonashi. For younger students who are just beginning, I would start with fun and entertaining warm ups that are designed to develop a strong foundation without relying on complicated terms. We would focus on discovering a joy and love for music and from there will develop a beginner's repertoire. For students who are a little older, I would focus on finding out what they hope to gain from voice lessons, and from there guide their learning in whatever direction they would like. Read More

I have been teaching since the age of 15. I've trained young church drummers as well as older individuals looking to either get back into drumming or improve their skills even more. No matter the skill level, my approach focuses on maxing the potential of the student. My playing experience spands more than 12 years in churches, bars, shows, and small business events. Read More

When a new student comes in for their first lesson, I always make sure that they have a grasp of the fundamentals. Without the fundamentals it is very easy to develop poor technique that will at best limit them in what can be accomplished on the instrument, and at worst lead to pain or injury from playing. Once we are comfortable with the fundamentals I want to start making music with them as soon as possible. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 5 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More
