I find that the most rewarding aspect of being a teacher is watching a student develop a stronger passion for music than they had to begin with.Students are encouraged to make manageable goals for each lesson so that they can feel a sense of achievement throughout the entire learning process. I am an award winning vocalist and performer with a Bachelor's in Music. I am a former Hurrah Player, Governor's School for the Arts student, and VA Opera artist. As well as being a live professional opera, musical theater, religious/spiritual, jazz artist, I am also a pop/rock recording artist and local stage and film actress.
